These alterations & additions to an existing Californian Bungalow have been expertly built by a passionate Owner-Builder.
The new house features a series of voluminous sun-filled spaces, trimmed with arches & steel-framed windows which blur the boundary between spaces and between inside & outside.
A central escher-inspired stair leads upstairs to a generous adults’ retreat with circular views overlooking the new courtyard, existing house & beyond toward a tree-filled street.
